Implementation of RTI will pave way for a new culture - MP Ajith

Parliamentarian Ajith Mannapperuma says the implementation of the Right to Information Act will pave the way for a new culture and a total revolution in the country. He emphasizes the people should gain the power in this regard. The MP also expressed belief that it would prevent the brain drain and help the development drive. The initiative will ensure that the public money is not stolen and will provide equal opportunity to all citizens. Taking part in the "Subarathi Discussion Programme" of the SLBC this morning parliamentarian Ajith Mannapperuma stated it would also help Sri Lanka to gain more international recognition.

Dr.Mahima Mendis who also participated in the programme said the Right to Information Act will ensure the betterment of the people. He pointed out the need of further educating the general public regarding the matter.
