Information
Commissioner, Punjab, Ravinder Singh Nagi today held a meeting with local
residents at Khamano and informed them about the working of the Information
Commission and the RTI Act. He appealed to RTI activists to work for the
welfare of public and not to harass anyone for any personal interest.
He said if
people face any difficulty in getting information under the RTI Act or find
misuse of RTI, they could contact him in any working day. Former president of
Khamano Nagar Panchayat and Khamano SHO Sukhvir Singh were also present on the
occasion.
