The residents
of Vijayawada, who want to turn into RTI activists, can enroll their names for
online certification course (OCC) on the Right to Information Act (RTI Act),
2005.
The course is
offered by the Centre for Good Governance (CGG), Hyderabad, in association with
the Union and state governments. The online classes for the course will
commence at 9 am from Nov 9 at Tagore Library in the city. “Tagore Library, in
association with with the United Forum for RTI Campaign, is organising the
online course in the city.
The course
can be completed in two to three months, free of cost,” said M Jhansi Rani,
Tagore Library incharge. She said that the basics of the RTI Act would be
taught to the candidates.
