Educated Unemployed Union Nagaland (EUUN) has adopted the following resolution at its general meeting held on February 15 at Kohima.
EUUN resolved to condemn extortion carried out by “unscrupulous” persons including the act of one Hosheto Swu, a resident of Purana Bazar who was arrested by Dimapur police while extorting illegal tax of Rs. 500 from shops located at G.S Road in the name of EUUN.
Union also resolved to take stern action against any individual collecting money in the name of EUUN or misusing the union official pad and receipts for personal benefits and stated that it would not tolerate any kind of activities which tarnished its image.
The union resolved to hold its state level co-ordination meeting for training on value-addition in the month of March at Dimapur. For timely monitoring of information under RTI Act, EUUN informed all RTI monitoring members to be regular and punctual.
