Odisha Information Commission (OIC) recently organised an internship programme for law students, aimed at providing practical insights into the Right to Information (RTI) Act. A total of 39 students from different govt and private institutes participated in the programme. Students had the opportunity to attend hearings and observe the procedural nuances involved in case disposals under the RTI Act. Chief information commissioner Manoj Parida emphasised the significance of the programme in enhancing students' understanding of the Act's provisions and its courtroom application.
