Haryana spends Rs 24 lakh a month on CM's air travel

Times of India: Chandigarh: Thursday, October 25, 2018.
The BJP government in Haryana is spending Rs 24 lakh on average every month just on CM Manohar Lal Khattar's air travel expenses. This amount covers just the fuel expenses of the state government-owned helicopter and funds used to charter flights for his official engagements.
The average daily spend on Khattar's air travel is around Rs 80,000 and does not include money spent by state government on luxury cars that make up Khattar's cavalcade.
These details were disclosed under the RTI Act by state government. Around Rs 10.53 crore has been spent on his air travel in the past 45 months according to information received on October 17 under RTI Act by Gurgaon resident Harinder Dhingra from the adviser to Haryana's civil aviation department.
