RTI convention in city on May 27

Goa RTI Forum will organize its annual RTI Convention on May 27 from 2 pm to 6 pm, at the Institute of Menezes Braganza Conference Hall, Panaji. During the convention, there will be informative sessions, panel discussions and interactions on topics such as suo-motu disclosures, record keeping, how to file Public Interest Litigation (PIL), RTI – Problems and solutions and emerging issues in implementation of RTI Act said Sandeep Heble, secretary, Goa RTI Forum. Applications are invited by May 25 (email to goartiforum@gmail.com) for the “RTI Activist of the Year Award” which has been instituted by journalist Prakash Kamat in the memory of his late father Mhabalu Vishnu Kamat.
