“The
applications make to various organizations by citizens under RTI Act should be
positively look that by the Public Information Officers. The more information
the public authorities provided to citizens, the less would be the number of
applications under RTI in future” observed Naveen Maheshkumar Agrawal
Registrar, Dada Ramchand Bakhru Sindhu Mahavidyalaya while imparting training
in RTI to Bhandara district Police officers in Bhandara Police head quarter.
The program
was organized at the behest of YASHADA, Pune. Naveen Agrawal was a Guest
Faculty deputed by YASHADA for imparting training. The program was inaugurated
at the hands of Superintendent of Police Smt. Vinita Sahu (IPS). Additional SP
Smt. Rashmi Nandedkar was prominently present on the occasion. Another Guest
Faculty from YASHADA Avinash Prabhune also imparted the training to the
participants. SDPO Sanjay Jogdand of Bhandara, PI Manoj Sidam and Dhoble
welcomed the guest.
During the last two days 150 police personnel from
Bhandara and Tumsar division were imparted the training and the next two days
about 140 police personnel from Sakoli and Pawni division will be given the
same training. The program was conducted by Dy. SP (Home) Sunil Kulkarni and
Pratik Wankhede coordinator from YASHADA proposed a vote of thanks. SDPO Vikram
Sali of Tumsar, PI Gajanan Kankade, Sudhakar Chauhan, Arun Gurnule, S.K. Neware
prominently participated in the training program.
