Pradesh Information Commissioner Tantiya Kumari on Thursday suggested that
there should be committees with senior officials, journalists and
representatives of NGOs to create more awareness about the RTI Act. She
reviewed the petitions and appeals in Srikakulam Collectorate and asked the
senior officials to provide information as early as possible for the
applicants.
Speaking on
the occasion, she said the Stae was in number one position in the
implementation of the Act which came into force 10 years ago.
