Reply from OKCL sought through RTI

Daily Pioneer: Bhubaneswar: Thursday, 07 January 2016.
At time when a complaint has already been filed at the CBI for a probe in the functioning of the Odisha Knowledge Corporation Limited (OKCL), BJP leader Shishir Gamang on Wednesday sought answers from the controversial agency through Right to Information (RTI) Act. Gamang has put nine questions to the OKCL.
“The school coordinators are being paid Rs 6,500 and after deductions they get around Rs 5,500. The question which arises based on this fact is from where you are getting this extra Rs 1,500 to pay to the school coordinators,” asked the RTI query.
The other questions include why the OKCL didn’t invite tenders under two heads like, human resource teachers and equipment and AMC, where has the human resources component money has gone, under which head you have received Rs 52 crore in 2013 and Rs 50 crore in 2015, what amount you deduct or charge the Odisha Government or the OMSM to provide the services you are offering, details of the salaries, entitlement and benefits drawn by the OKCL Board and its employees since the beginning of this organisation.
