Modalities
regarding evolving a system of online monitoring and reporting of RTI
applications disposal department-wise were discussed here under the
chairmanship of Secretary Administrative Reforms Dr. Purnima Chauhan. The
meeting was attended by officers of NIC and other officers of the State
Government.
Dr. Purnima
Chauhan said that a format was devised to be used from the field offices upto
the secretariat level to enable regular online RTI data feeding and information
flow to each HoD and administrative departments. She said that this data would
be further compiled online at the Administrative Reforms Department and State
Information Commission level.
Dr. Chauhan
informed that a format for such online data flow and applications made under
the Public Services Guarantee Act, 2011 was also being designed for adoption by
all the departments. She said that this initiative would enable monitoring and
evaluation of progress made on these statutory citizen centric governance
initiatives.
