Development
of the capital region is not possible with corrupt officials, said State
Information Commissioner P Vijaya Babu.
Addressing a
conference on ‘Capital city construction, transparency and accountability’
organised here Sunday, he said corrupt bureaucrats will be a hindering block
for the capital city construction. He expressed concern that even after eight
months of formation, the reorganised state is not implementing RTI Act in a
proper prospective. He emphasised the need for more public participation in the
development of the capital region .
TDP State
Secretary M Subba Rao said the government is making efforts to bring
credibility and transparency to governance by setting up all government offices
in this region for close monitoring.
