University Vice-Chancellor P K Radhakrishnan has sought an explanation from the
Deputy Librarian of the University in the wake of reports that his PhD thesis
had gone missing from the University Library.
Congress-backed
Senate member B S Jyothi Kumar had field an RTI application in November last
year seeking a copy of the PhD thesis of Radhakrishnan. In its response, the
University informed Jyothi Kumar that the information on the thesis was not
available.
The Syndicate
of the University of Kerala had awarded PhD in Chemistry to Radhakrishnan on
October 8, 1986. The PhD was awarded for the topic ‘Studies in Rare Earths
Chemistry.’
