Parmanand Sharma was shot outside his residence by some motorbike-borne
assailants.
The incident
took place around Tuesday late night when two bullets hit 52-year-old Sharma`s
hand and thigh. He was immediately rushed to nearby hospital where his
condition was stated to be out of danger.
According to
the police Sharma was attacked over a property dispute with someone. The person
was allegedly pressurizing him to leave the property.
According to
media reports, victim`s son said that some people opened indiscriminate firing
in the air outside his home a month ago. A complaint was registered but no
action was taken by the police.
