expert appointed by the NHRC has found medical negligence in six of 20 children
deaths at Kalawati Saran Children Hospital over the past five years. Responding
to an RTI query from activist Raj Hans Bansal, NHRC said an analysis of treatment
records of 20 deceased children, selected at random by NHRC, and examined by
AIIMS forensic specialist Dr Adarsh Kumar has found there was no negligence in
14 cases, but medical negligence had been found in the remaining six cases.
