TheMaharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is expected to declare the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination’s results at 1 pm on Friday. More than 17 lakh students had appeared for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination.

The students can take the printout of the result which will be valid for taking provisional admission in junior colleges. The results can also be obtained over SMS on BSNL mobile (type MHHSC and send on 57766), Airtel (Innova) Maharashtra and Mumbai Circle (type MHHSC and send it on 55077) and Innova Mumbai Circle (type MHSC and send it on 8800654242).
For the first time, the students would be able to get a photocopy of their answer sheets under the Right to Information Act. “If the result does not match a student’s expectations, he/she can apply for their answer sheets through RTI,” said MSBSHSE chairman Sarjerao Jadhav, adding that verified photocopies of the result would be given. However, the applications for verification of marks should be made by June 8 for which the board shall charge Rs 400 per subject.
Students who have failed in the examination and want to re-appear for it in October should fill in the form between June 12 and 16 at their respective colleges, he said. The counselling lines will be opened by respective divisions when the results are declared, Jadhav had earlier said.
