Anil Kumble case: HC summons inspector.

The high court has directed the inspector of Bharathinagar police station to be present in the court on Tuesday, with regard to a petition filed by businessman Kumar V Jagirdar against former cricketer Anil Kumble and his wife Chetana.

Jagirdar has accused his former wife and the cricketer of forging his signature while renewing passport of his daughter. Jagirdar had also filed a complaint at the Bharathinagar police station.

Jagirdar, through an RTI application, discovered that Kumble had forged his signature on his daughter’s passport at the time of its renewal in April, 2011.

In his petition in the high court, Jagirdar had requested the court to direct the police to investigate the matter.

In earlier hearings, he also sought a CID investigation into the case. Jagirdar alleged that Kumble had no locus standi in the matter of guardianship of his daughter.
