The Common Service Centre (CSC) project of the IT department, which is being initially implemented in five districts including Indore, is in the final stage of implementation.
A training of the officials in this regard was conducted at the district collectorate on January 20. "Once the service is started, people will avail basic services from the CSCs located in their localities", SDM Jitendra Singh told DNA.
In the initial stages, a total of 7 services including caste certificate, domicile certificate, RTI applications, copies of Khasra, income certificate, birth certificates and others will be made available at the CSC.
"If anyone applies at the CSC, hisher application will be uploaded on the website which will directly reach the office of concerned tehsildar and SDM. Then, it will be checked and if the application is found to be valid, it will be again uploaded on the portal. " Singh said.
According to sources, it has been decided that at least one CSC should be in every three panchayats.
