''Police to be made more responsive in Faizabad''

A more responsive and effective policing system would be put on place for the redressal of public complaints in the district, a senior police official said today.

DIG, Faizabad, Ashok Mutha Jain said his priority would be to build a healthy relationship between police and public for effective policing.

Under this policing system, public can register their complaint through telephone by dialling 100 if their complaint is not registered, he added.

The complainant will get an identification number once the complaint is registered. They can also know the status of police action on their complaint under the RTI Act, he said.

A Facebook account for Faizabad Police would be created, which would help the people to register their complaints online, the DIG said.
