Fifteen Right to Information Activists (RTI) gathered together for a follow up programme that was held last March at don bosco MEDIA. On 14th September they were back again to review and refocus . The activists hailed from different NGOs, an each from an organization.
Mr. Raaj Mangal Prasad, President of Association for Development from New Delhi was the animator. Mr. Raaj had been very actively involved Child Rights related issues and recently he was in news for obtaining information from PMO`s office (Prime Minister`s Office) on the appointment of members of NCPCR (National Commission for Protection of Child Rights). He is also Vice-President of PRATIDHI; A collaborative society of Delhi Police) established for crime victims.
Mr. Joseph Regis, the National Coordinator of JJND (Juvenile Justice National Desk) was the chief organizer and Ms. Sonam Gulati also from Association for Development was present.
The discussions were centred around making RTI a tool for rights of people and particularly to protect the rights of children.
