Our right to inform and be informed is under threat, and Reporters Without Borders (RSF) is appealing to the general public to join the fight to defend journalists and the right to information. The NGO has launched a donations campaign called “Without Borders but Never Without You”, created in partnership with the communications agency The Good Company. The campaign immerses viewers in the day-to-day work RSF carries out on the ground through photos and sound clips of RSF’s activities around the globe.
With this new campaign, carried out in partnership with The Good Company — a brand new collaboration for Reporters Without Borders — we’re calling on the general public to support our mission. Mobilisation works, and it’s producing tangible results month after month. Hats off to The Good Company, which lives up to its name and has found a way to express, through sound and images, the need to rally around RSF and its fight for journalism for all."
At a time when information chaos is growing, facts are becoming increasingly difficult to verify and the foundations of our democracies are under threat, The Good Company is extremely proud to be able to support RSF, an organisation fighting all these challenges on the front line. The purpose of this campaign — both a fundraising and combat campaign — is to send a message of hope — of moving forward without borders, without fear and without ever giving in to the sad tales of history."

The right to information is under threat. Across the world, journalists are relentlessly targeted by authoritarian rulers, censorship, violence, and arbitrary imprisonment. 2024 was marked by the war in Gaza and, to date, over 140 journalists have been killed by the Israeli army — including at least 40 who are believed to have been targeted while they were working. Journalists have also been targeted by armed attacks in Pakistan, Bangladesh — where they were covering important social protests — Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Five hundred thirty-nine media professionals are currently in prison. On top of this, disinformation is proliferating, amplified by the lack of regulation of digital platforms, which hinders the public's access to reliable information.
