Suspended
IAS officer Chandresh Yadav has filed an RTI seeking documents and note sheets
that became the basis of his suspension in the Rs 300 crore NH-74 scam. Yadav
told TOI that the suspension order has not taken note of his reply given to the
state government on August 27. “I have moved an RTI appeal seeking the
documents related to my suspension because the order does not mention my
point-by-point replies.” Yadav claimed that in an RTI filed on September 12, he
had sought a copy of the SIT report which was submitted to the state government
on July 10, 2017, but received no reply.
He
added that on September 19, the state government refused to give the
information citing section 8 (1) (h) of the RTI Act. On the same day, he moved
an appeal citing the high court’s orders dealing with the particular section
stressing that the documents should be shared with him. The appeal is likely to
come up next week in the State Information Commission.
