Accusing Karnataka Slum Clarence Board, making attempts to clear slums in Dharam Singh colony former BJP MLA Shri Ramdas staged a demonstration in the morning against this move.
Ramdas, who arrived at the spot along with his followers, after coming to know that KSCB personal had visited the spot earlier, this morning to ask the dwellers to vacate said that 38 families living at th site and it was responsibility of the MCC and other authorities to give them separate houses under RAY scheme..
But KSCB adding 17 more families to these 38 are planning to construct G +3 houses instead of individual ones as per original plan, he claimed that mafia s behind KSCB move.
Ramdas further alleged taaht KSCB has failed to provide full list of RAY beneficiaries though he has asked the same under RTI Act.
He also submitted that memorandum will be given in this regard to the Deputy Municipal commissioner tomorrow.
