The Arunachal
Pradesh information commission has requested the court trying the suicide case
of Kalikho Pul to furnish copies of the forensic report and a note written by
the former Arunachal Pradesh CM before he died on August 9.
It has sought
the documents in public interest under the Right to Information Act. This
follows after Nabam Tagam filed an RTI case seeking information on Pul's death.
While hearing
Tagam's petition on Tuesday, Arunachal information commissioner Abraham K Techi
instructed the public information officer (Arunachal home department) to seek
from the chief judicial magistrate of Yupia information on Pul's suicide case
as sought by the petitioner.
A 60-page
suicide note was found after Pul's death. The note is believed to have
'explosive revelations' involving politicians and judges.
