Movement has expressed satisfaction over the selection of Khurshid Ahmad Ganai
for the post of State Chief Information Commissioner (CIC). In a statement, the RTI Movement said that
Khurshid Ahmad Ganai is an upright person who can manage the affairs of State
Information Commission (SIC) effectively.
“Khurshid
Ganai has played an important role in drafting J&K RTI Amendment Act of
2008 when he was Commissioner / Secretary to Government General Administration
Department (GAD) way back in 2008.
