RTI activist among 2 shot dead in Jamui

Four unidentified criminals shot RTI activist Valmiki Yadav (40) and his associate Dharmendra Yadav (34) near their village Bichwe under the Sikandra police station area in Jamui district at around 7pm on Sunday, Jamui SDPO Rampukar Singh said. Singh said the killers first attacked the duo with rods and sticks and then shot them dead. He said Valmiki used to file RTI applications. Valmiki’s body was still lying on the spot till filing the report at 11pm.
