Founder of
Loksatta Jayaprakash Narayan addressed students on ‘a journey to the ‘right’
future Right To Information, Right to Service: necessary instruments for
participatory governance’ at VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and
Technology.
Mr. Narayan
said the RTI and RTS were effective tools to ensure the functioning of
democracy in the country. Corruption is everywhere, but corruption that
involves public servants and governance affects the society at large, he said.
